The Cyber Systems Administrator plays a critical role in safeguarding the operational technology (OT) and industrial control systems (ICS) that power mission-critical Department of Defense facilities. This position is dedicated to ensuring the secure, reliable, and compliant operation of Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Facility Related Control Systems (FRCS) that support essential infrastructure, including HVAC, utilities, and facility operations.
You will serve as a vital bridge between cybersecurity operations and physical facility management. Working closely with facilities personnel, BAS technicians, government cybersecurity teams, and DLA stakeholders, you will navigate the complex intersection of IT security and industrial operations. Your day-to-day involves supporting the lifecycle of these systems—from system administration and vulnerability remediation to Risk Management Framework (RMF) sustainment and privileged account management. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity of federal cybersecurity standards in high-stakes environments.
