About the Role
Forhyre is seeking a highly motivated Security Architect to provide strategic support and interface across our cybersecurity programs. This role is designed for a professional with a strong IT security background who excels at integrating, operating, and deploying security technology. You will serve as a bridge between technical implementation and executive strategy, offering guidance on solutions, policy, and implementation while interacting effectively with both internal teams and clients.
In this position, you will engineer and monitor security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and information. You will drive the adoption of infrastructure security best practices and lead continuous improvement initiatives for information security technologies and processes. A key part of your day will involve interpreting complex penetration test results and communicating issues and fixes to non-security experts, as well as leading accurate status reporting to the executive steering committee.

Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree or 12+ years of directly applicable experience
- verifiedCISSP certification
- verified8+ years hands-on experience designing or implementing security solutions
- verifiedU.S. citizenship or authorized to work in the U.S.
- verifiedExperience with federal IT enterprise environment
