About the Role
Forhyre is seeking a highly motivated Security Architect to provide strategic support and interface across our cybersecurity programs. This role is designed for a professional with a strong IT security background who excels at integrating, operating, and deploying advanced security technologies. You will serve as a bridge between technical implementation and executive strategy, offering guidance on solutions, policy, and implementation roadmaps.
In this position, you will not only engineer and monitor security measures to protect computer systems and networks but also drive the adoption of infrastructure security best practices. A key part of your day-to-day involves interpreting complex penetration test results and communicating critical issues and fixes to non-security stakeholders. You will lead the development of accurate status reports for the executive steering committee and manage a global, multilingual security training program to ensure our Information Security framework meets all industry regulations and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- check_circleAssist in ensuring the global Information security program meets all industry regulations and compliance requirements
- check_circleImplement technology to proactively scan the IT environment for security breaches and suspicious activity
- check_circleLead accurate and comprehensive status reporting to the executive steering committee
- check_circleCreate and implement SOP and process improvement initiatives to align with the strategic roadmap
- check_circleDrive adoption of infrastructure security best practices and collaborate with IT teams to maintain security standards
- check_circleInterpret penetration test results and describe issues and fixes to non-security experts
- check_circleEngineer, implement, and monitor security measures for computer systems, networks, and information
- check_circleDevelop and maintain an effective system for distributing regular key performance indicator reports and dashboards
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree or 12+ years of directly applicable experience
- verifiedCISSP certification
- verified8+ years hands-on experience designing or implementing security solutions
- verifiedU.S. citizenship or authorized to work in the U.S.
- verifiedExperience with IAM, NDR, EDR, SIEM, AI/ML
- verifiedExperience with federal IT enterprise environment

Vulnerability Assessment testing and/or Penetration Testing, Robotic Process Automation/Intelligent Automation, Business case development supporting security technology solutions, Additional certifications demonstrating cybersecurity/technical mastery
