We are seeking an ACAS Administrator to serve as a key partner in the design, implementation, and maintenance of Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) environments across all client networks. In this role, you will not only build and configure Security Centers and Scanners but also act as a subject matter expert, training operators from various sites on the effective operation of ACAS tools.
Your day-to-day impact involves ensuring 100% coverage of the area of responsibility through rigorous scanning and configuration assessments. You will analyze current ACAS implementations on government networks, recommending strategic changes and documenting detailed design steps for MCEN networks, including IP addresses, Fully Qualified Domain Names, and physical locations. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to creating network diagrams using Microsoft Visio and developing tailored reporting dashboards for diverse audiences, ranging from leadership and executives to cybersecurity staff and system administrators.
You will be responsible for the health and integrity of the ACAS ecosystem, maintaining operating systems and Tenable applications through timely updates and patching. This includes ensuring STIGs are implemented, managing Nessus scanners and agents, and resolving update failures or anomalous activities identified by PVS within strict timeframes. Additionally, you will develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support the client's evolving ACAS solutions.
Candidates must possess an active DoD Secret security clearance to be considered for this position. The selection process will focus on verifying your technical expertise with ACAS, Nessus, and RHEL, as well as your ability to design secure, compliant network environments.
