The Cyber Information Assurance Analyst supports our customers by performing critical analyses to validate security requirements and assessing systems and networks within complex networking environments. This role operates under direction while exercising a limited degree of latitude in determining the technical objectives of the assignment.
In this position, you will conduct cybersecurity assessments, audits, and inspections for DoD organizations and partners handling DoD information or connecting to the DoDIN. You will evaluate systems and Defensive Cyberspace Operations using cyber threat emulation and performance-based testing. Your work involves analyzing security gaps, validating cybersecurity controls, and providing risk analysis and assessment results to support authorization recommendations. You will participate in daily assessment reviews, in-briefs, and out-briefs, sharing findings with the SCA-R.
This role requires significant travel, approximately 85% within the CONUS and OCONUS.
