We are seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team in Gainesville, FL. In this role, you will be an integral part of the interdisciplinary team, supporting patient care by performing technical clinical tasks and assisting providers with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in non-invasive labs and cardiac catheterization labs.
You will play a vital role in ensuring workflow efficiency and patient safety. Your day will involve preparing patients for procedures by verifying identities, reviewing histories, and explaining protocols to ensure comfort and safety. You will operate, calibrate, and maintain sophisticated cardiovascular imaging and monitoring equipment, including hemodynamic systems, while strictly adhering to radiation safety and infection prevention guidelines. As a key member of the team, you will monitor patient vital signs and cardiac rhythms, promptly reporting changes and supporting the team during emergent situations. Your contributions will directly impact the quality of care delivered to our patients.
