About the Role
This Registered Nurse position is a professional calling within our Intensive Care Units. You will serve as a critical practitioner who assesses, manages, and directs nursing care activities throughout a patient's hospital stay. The role requires a patient-driven approach, coordinating planning with other disciplines to ensure comprehensive care.
In this capacity, you will perform comprehensive assessments, establish and evaluate individualized plans of care, and implement specialized interventions for high-risk patients. Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing pain, ensuring safety through strict infection control practices, and providing education to patients and families. You will collaborate closely with physicians and the healthcare team to monitor patient conditions, administer treatments, and facilitate smooth transitions during handoffs. This role demands adaptability to emergency situations, irregular hours, and the ability to support peers and students in a dynamic clinical environment.
