About the Role
The Manager Customer Logistics serves as the management and professional representative of the Ryder organization within an assigned function. This role is designed for individuals with a strong work ethic and a burning desire to succeed and grow their careers. You will oversee day-to-day operations, managing all aspects of Operations and Account Management while leading direct reports to attain daily operational goals.
In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring customer service satisfaction, managing staffing performance, and overseeing day-to-day planning and scheduling. You will also play a critical role in Health and Safety Management and ensuring compliance with state, local, and federal regulations. Success in this role requires the ability to work within international functional teams, make timely decisions during critical disruptions, and maintain professional relationships at all organizational levels. Work Environment & Schedule
This is a fully onsite position located in Rochester, NY (14652). The role operates on a Tuesday through Saturday schedule from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM. Flexibility is essential, including the ability to provide off-shift support in the event of critical customer network disruptions or crises. The environment is fast-paced, requiring self-drive, multi-tasking capabilities, and excellent time management skills.

Requirements
- verifiedH.S. diploma/GED required
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred
- verifiedTwo (2) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or industry related field required
- verifiedOne (1) year or more direct supervisory/leadership experience required
- verifiedProficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) required
- verifiedLogistics industry knowledge advanced required
- verifiedKnowledge and understanding of Customer/Company local and Federal regulations advanced required
- verifiedFundamental knowledge of Supply Chain Management components intermediate required
- verifiedStrong knowledge of Manufacturing and Production advanced required
