About the Team
The Customer Billing & Accounting department ensures accurate and on-time billing for The Organization's residential and commercial customers. This role focuses primarily on residential accounts, including pre-pay and distributed generation services. The team is dedicated to maintaining high-quality account records and resolving billing inquiries efficiently.
About the Role
This position is not a call center or data entry role. Instead, it serves as a critical function within the billing lifecycle, ensuring system integrity and customer satisfaction. You will review accounts during all phases of the bill cycle to correct system issues, validate customer usage, and manage meter exchange and install orders. The role requires a self-motivated individual capable of researching and resolving billing concerns while collaborating with internal departments to address customer needs.
Work Environment & Location
This role is based in Tempe, AZ. Candidates must be available for onsite training for the first three months before transitioning to a remote work model. Success in this position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize daily tasks, and the flexibility to adapt as new responsibilities emerge.
