This position serves as a Radiologic Technologist within the Radiology Cat Scan department at the UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, CO. The role is an onsite position focused on providing computed tomography imaging in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice, as well as the policies, values, and mission of the organization.
The successful candidate will work the night shift on a full-time basis (72 hours per pay period). The role requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgment to operate in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Key aspects of the day-to-day include reviewing patient history and physician orders, scheduling, and educating patients regarding procedures to ensure understanding and cooperation. The technologist will prepare and administer contrast media or medications as ordered, monitor patient conditions, and perform imaging procedures. Additionally, the role involves analyzing image quality, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, and performing 3-D post-processing when necessary.
