UCHealth is dedicated to improving lives in big ways through learning, healing, and discovery, and in small, personal ways through human connection. We view our employees as our number one asset and foster a culture that invests in both professional success and personal well-being. Our Radiology Cat Scan department at the UCHealth Anschutz Outpatient Pavilion in Aurora, CO, operates with a mission to provide high-quality computed tomography imaging in strict adherence to scope, standards, and organizational values.
This onsite position serves as a critical component of our diagnostic services, providing computed tomography imaging for patients. You will be responsible for reviewing patient history and physician orders, scheduling exams, and educating patients on procedures to ensure their understanding and cooperation. The role requires preparing and administering contrast media or medications within your scope of practice while continuously monitoring patient conditions.
In this fast-paced environment, you will select appropriate exposure factors, implement safety standards, and perform quality control procedures on equipment. You will analyze imaging results to identify and resolve quality issues, potentially performing 3-D post-processing, and ensure accurate reporting of scan results. Success in this role demands critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
This position will remain open for a minimum of three days and until a top applicant is identified. Interested candidates should apply directly through the UCHealth careers portal.
