About the Team
Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center in Northwest Portland is known for its specialty programs and clinical excellence. The facility features nationally renowned doctors in cancer care, kidney transplantations, neurology, ophthalmology, weight-loss surgery, robotic surgery, and rehabilitation. It also houses Oregon's only 24-hour urgent care located alongside an emergency room, ensuring immediate access to emergency care when needed.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circlePosition patients for diagnostic imaging according to department procedures and machine requirements
- check_circleOperate CT equipment and set exposure factors to ensure accurate and quality images
- check_circleUse computer image processing to select and optimize diagnostic images
- check_circlePerform medication reconciliation on patients receiving IV contrast media
- check_circleStart IVs and administer medications under the direction of a licensed provider
- check_circleProcess and present images with patient information to radiologists for diagnosis
- check_circleLabel images completely with demographic, position, and required documentation
- check_circlePerform quality control and quality assurance on equipment and report variances
- check_circleProtect patients and staff by adhering to radiation safety standards and sterile practices
Requirements
- verifiedARRT registration in Radiology or Nuclear Medicine required
- verifiedCT certification (ARRT-CT) required within six months
- verifiedCurrent state license in Radiography or Nuclear Medicine in Oregon
- verifiedCurrent Radiologic Technologist Certification in Washington
- verifiedAHA BLS for Healthcare Providers
- verifiedOne year previous experience in CT preferred
- verifiedKeyboard skills and ability to navigate electronic systems

One year previous experience in the field of CT.
