This position serves as a vital member of the radiology team, dedicated to performing Computed Tomography (CT) procedures that produce high-quality radiographs of designated anatomical areas. The role is designed to support patient care through precise imaging, ensuring that every scan is executed according to established medical practices and specific physician orders.
In this capacity, you will be the primary point of contact for patients during their CT journey. Your day involves obtaining detailed patient histories, explaining routine procedures to alleviate concerns, and assisting physicians with the administration of medicines as required. Beyond the scan room, you will manage the logistical flow of the department by scheduling cases to coordinate with other examinations, transporting patients, and maintaining the CT room for daily activities.
The role also encompasses a strong focus on patient safety and quality assurance. You will adhere to strict departmental policies regarding safety, environmental standards, and infection control. A key component of the position involves performing Point-of-Care (POC) Creatinine testing, which includes blood draws, quality control, and machine maintenance. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing written documentation such as evaluation results, individualized treatment plans, and progress reports.

Candidates must possess a current State License and be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as an (R) or be Registry Eligible. While an Associate's degree or graduation from a radiologic technology program is preferred, the primary focus is on demonstrating sufficient previous experience in radiology and CT procedures, along with a thorough knowledge of radiologic terminology, physiology, and human anatomy.
