About the Role

The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist is a vital member of the imaging team at CHRISTUS Health, dedicated to performing routine and advanced imaging procedures with precision and care. This role exists to ensure smooth and efficient patient flow while providing high-quality diagnostic support. You will not only execute examinations but also serve as a resource for fellow technologists, troubleshooting basic maintenance issues, participating in quality assurance, and resolving challenges related to image processing and archiving systems.

In this position, you will adapt your assessment and care methods to meet the unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs of every patient. Your work directly impacts physician satisfaction by offering meaningful assistance to radiologists and referring doctors. As a PACS Superuser, you will ensure exams are scanned and stored correctly, following downtime procedures and escalating technical issues when necessary. The role demands flexibility, requiring you to work various shifts and potentially cover other campuses to meet the organization's needs.

Hiring Process

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of Radiology Technology and hold a Radiography (R) certification by ARRT. A Computed Tomography (CT) certification by ARRT is required within one year of hire, along with state licensure (Texas MRT by TMB) and BLS certification.
