About the Role

The CT Technologist is a vital member of the diagnostic imaging team, operating computed tomography (CT) scanners to capture high-quality images essential for diagnosing injuries, infections, cancers, and other medical conditions. This role exists to bridge the gap between advanced imaging technology and patient care, ensuring that physicians receive the precise diagnostic information they need while prioritizing patient comfort and safety.

In this position, you will be the primary point of contact for patients undergoing CT procedures. Your day involves preparing patients by explaining the process, verifying medical history, and positioning them safely on the scanner table. You will operate the equipment to calibrate settings for radiation dose and slice thickness, often administering contrast agents under physician guidance to enhance image clarity. Beyond technical operation, you will review images for quality, collaborate with radiologists and the broader healthcare team to adjust protocols, and maintain a sterile, safe environment in the CT room.
