Key Responsibilities
- check_circleEnsure proper patient identification and compliance with medical-legal standards for all films
- check_circleMaintain inventory of supplies and keep the work area neat and orderly
- check_circleVerify order accuracy and enter exam details into the Cerner Electronic Medical Record
- check_circleOperate GE, Siemens, and Philips CT scanners to produce quality exams
- check_circleCommunicate procedures clearly to patients to ensure they are well informed
- check_circlePerform CT procedures and radiographic special procedures on patients of all ages
- check_circleDetermine patient positioning and select appropriate procedure protocols for optimal results
- check_circleMonitor patient physical and emotional conditions and report adverse signs to physicians
- check_circleEnsure all information and films are correctly archived in the Picture Archiving Communication System
- check_circleApply radiation protection and shielding materials to comply with federal and state guidelines
Requirements
