About the Role
As a Critical Care Float Pool Travel Nurse, you will provide expert ICU and step-down care across diverse hospital settings. This role exists to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care is delivered to adult patients in high-acuity environments, regardless of the specific facility's immediate needs.
You will float between units, utilizing advanced skills in ventilator management, cardiac monitoring, and emergency response to support complex patients. Your day will involve rapidly assessing, planning, and evaluating patient care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes. You will also serve as a key educator for patients and families, explaining conditions and care plans while adapting quickly to new environments, workflows, and technology platforms.
