About the Role
As a Critical Care Float Pool Travel Nurse, you will provide expert ICU and step-down care across a variety of hospital environments. This role exists to ensure high-quality, continuous care for adult patients in high-acuity settings, regardless of the specific facility's immediate staffing needs. You will float between units, bringing your advanced clinical skills to support complex patients and interdisciplinary teams.
In this position, you will assess, plan, and deliver evidence-based care while managing ventilators, operating critical care monitoring equipment, and responding effectively to emergencies. Your day will involve adapting quickly to new environments, workflows, and technology platforms, ensuring safety and standards of care are maintained across every location. You will also play a key role in educating patients and families on conditions, treatments, and care plans, fostering trust and understanding in critical moments.
