About the Role
As a Critical Care Float Pool Travel Nurse, you will provide expert ICU and step-down care across a variety of hospital locations. This role exists to ensure high-quality, continuous care for adult patients in high-acuity environments by leveraging your advanced clinical skills. You will float between units based on facility needs, assessing, planning, and delivering evidence-based care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
In this position, you will utilize advanced skills in ventilator management, cardiac monitoring, and emergency response to support complex patients. Your day will involve rapidly assessing and triaging patients, administering medications, and managing critical care monitoring equipment. You will also play a key role in educating patients and families on conditions and care plans, ensuring safety and adherence to infection control policies in every new environment you enter.
