TREO STAFFING LLC is connecting top-tier engineering talent with a top-notch client specializing in crane systems. This role offers a dynamic environment where you will apply your engineering expertise to design, validate, and maintain critical mechanical and industrial systems.
About the Role
As a Crane Systems Engineer I, you will serve as a key technical resource, bridging the gap between design concepts and operational reality. Your day will involve interpreting complex blueprints and technical drawings to drive the development of innovative mechanical designs for new products and the modification of existing ones. You will collaborate closely with other engineers and production crews to resolve system malfunctions, ensure conformance with strict engineering specifications, and maintain rigorous Quality Management Systems.
A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to research and analysis, evaluating the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of various design proposals. You will also play a vital role in design validation per API 2C standards, investigating equipment failures to diagnose issues, and recommending necessary modifications to eliminate malfunctions. While the majority of your work will take place in an office setting utilizing CAD tools and solid modeling software, you will occasionally visit warehouse, assembly, and welding shops to oversee installation, operation, and maintenance activities.
