The Maintenance Operations Resource Management team is seeking a highly motivated professional to join a mission-driven, technically diverse, and dynamic environment. This role is designed for individuals with a strong technical background focused on learning and continuous improvement.
In this position, you will serve as a dual-qualified Crane Operator and Crane Rigger on the Kesselring Site. You will operate a variety of equipment, including hydraulically operated mobile cranes, derricks, crawler cranes, and rigger cranes, to perform complex blind hitches and lifts. Your expertise in crane capacity, boom length, and operation will be essential for planning and executing work to NAVFAC P-307 standards.
When not operating cranes, you will collaborate with Millwrights on metal fabricating tasks using equipment such as hydraulic shears, iron workers, and drill presses. You will also be responsible for removing or replacing large pumps, electric motors, and air handling units using both crane and non-crane rigging evolutions. Success in this role requires maintaining all necessary certifications, including qualification as a Radiation Worker.
