About the Role
The Crane Operator position is designed for experienced professionals capable of operating friction, hydraulic, and barge-mounted cranes in complex marine and heavy civil environments. This role is critical for the safe and efficient movement of materials such as steel, concrete, and heavy equipment, specifically supporting projects involving pile driving, formwork, and critical lifts.
You will work directly alongside riggers, signal persons, and supervisors to execute lifts according to detailed specifications and lift plans. The position requires a high level of situational awareness regarding site conditions, including weather patterns, terrain variations, and overhead obstructions. Whether operating from land or barge platforms, you will be responsible for setting up cranes in strict accordance with manufacturer guidelines and project-specific safety requirements, including the proper deployment of outriggers, counterweights, and swing radius protection.
