The Crane Operator is essential to ensuring the safe, efficient, and precise operation of assigned equipment, directly supporting critical construction activities such as pile driving, steel erection, and bridge construction. This role is defined by a commitment to strict adherence to safety protocols, thorough equipment maintenance, and the skilled execution of critical lifts to meet demanding project standards.
Day-to-day, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of equipment care, including daily cleaning of cabs, weekly interior maintenance, and regular lubrication of doors and windows. You will collaborate closely with Project Superintendents and Foremen, providing daily reports on equipment condition, fuel status, and supply needs. Success in this position requires the ability to read load charts, plan critical lifts, and control crane movements in response to hand signals and radio commands while navigating complex work zones.
