About the Role
The Courier Driver is responsible for collecting and delivering parcels, packages, and various sizes of boxes, ensuring time-sensitive samples and equipment are transported between client locations and the San Francisco (SFO) airport. This role is critical for maintaining the flow of logistics in and around the airport, requiring the ability to drive for extended periods and make multiple trips to surrounding areas.
Day in the Life
You will navigate the San Francisco Bay Area, managing a schedule that includes evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts. Your day involves maintaining a written log of daily activities and ensuring your vehicle is kept in good service and basic maintenance condition. Success in this position requires excellent communication skills to interpret verbal and written directions, a customer-centric demeanor when interacting with CNW clients, and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while using GPS and Microsoft software applications.
