As a Counselor on our campus, you will serve as a vital advocate and systems change agent, dedicated to fostering the personal, social, academic, and career growth of every student. Your mission is to plan, implement, and evaluate a balanced, comprehensive developmental counseling program that encourages all students to reach their full potential.
In this role, you will act as a proactive leader, collaborating with teachers to integrate guidance-related information into the existing curriculum. You will provide individual and group counseling to help students navigate their concerns, develop educational plans, and explore career pathways. Beyond direct student interaction, you will serve as a consultant to parents, staff, and administrators, utilizing an effective referral process to connect students with special programs and resources.
Your day-to-day impact involves guiding the campus standardized testing program, interpreting appraisal results, and maintaining rigorous standards of confidentiality and professional ethics. You will also play a key role in program management by continuously evaluating the guidance program to ensure it meets identified needs and making necessary adjustments based on findings.
