The Financial Control team ensures the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of the Firm's books and records, managing the entire lifecycle of the business from general ledger operations to month-end close coordination.
As a Financial Controller Associate, you will be the guardian of the Firm's financial data integrity. Your primary focus is ensuring the validity of line of business general ledger accounts and maintaining adherence to firmwide General Ledger Reconciliation & Substantiation (GLRS) standards. You will analyze and resolve material variances between the general ledger and upstream systems, while identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency in P&L and Balance Sheet controls.
This role requires you to be more than just an accountant; you must be a strategic partner. You will liaise with business and finance partners, building and maintaining relationships across product-aligned businesses and corporate groups. Your day-to-day involves influencing middle and front-office partners to deliver solutions to business issues, understanding business drivers, and critically challenging processes to identify and mitigate control risks.
