About the Role
Burger King is seeking a Cook I (Food & Beverage) team member to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing food items, maintaining kitchen operations, and ensuring food quality and safety standards are met. You will prepare menu items such as burgers, chicken sandwiches, fries, and breakfast items according to company recipes and procedures.
Day in the Life
As a Cook, you will operate grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment to assemble food orders, and restock kitchen inventory. You will be responsible for cleaning kitchen stations and maintaining food safety and sanitation standards. You will prepare food quickly and accurately, monitor food quality, and maintain proper food temperatures. Additionally, you will assist with deliveries and follow company food safety and sanitation procedures. During busy periods, you must work efficiently and communicate with team members to ensure orders are completed on time.
