About the Role
As a Culinary Team Member at our Rapid City facility, you will play a vital role in nourishing our residents, staff, and visitors. Your day will involve preparing, assembling, cooking, and portioning baked goods and meals while strictly adhering to menu guidelines and specific dietary requirements. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food quality, appearance, taste, and temperature.
This role requires you to function effectively in a dynamic culinary environment, following standardized recipes and Hazardous Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines to ensure food safety. You will document critical steps, temperatures, and outcomes while operating a variety of kitchen equipment, from mixers and ovens to dishwashers and grills. Beyond cooking, you will maintain sanitation and cleanliness in all cooking and serving areas, manage food labeling and storage, and collaborate with internal customers through strong communication and teamwork.
Hiring Process
Candidates selected for an interview will undergo a standard screening process. An accepted offer is contingent upon passing a drug screen and a pre-employment background screening. Depending on the specific location requirements, you may also need to obtain Serv Safe certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) within a designated timeframe.
