As a Culinary Team Member at our Rapid City facility, you will play a vital role in nourishing residents, staff, and visitors. Your day-to-day involves preparing, assembling, cooking, and portioning baked goods and meals while strictly adhering to menu guidelines and specific dietary requirements. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food quality, appearance, taste, and temperature.
This role requires a dynamic approach to a changing culinary environment. You will follow standardized recipes and Hazardous Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines to ensure the safest food possible, documenting all steps, temperatures, and outcomes. You will operate a variety of kitchen equipment, including mixers, ovens, grills, and dishwashers, while managing labeling and storage protocols.
Success in this position requires strong communication skills to work with internal customers and the ability to function effectively as part of a team. You must be prepared to work independently when necessary, stand for the majority of the day, and navigate the facility to support the kitchen's operations.
