As a Culinary Team Member at our Rapid City facility, you will play a vital role in preparing, assembling, and serving nutritious meals for residents, staff, and visitors. This position is essential to maintaining the daily rhythm of our community, ensuring that every meal meets strict quality standards for appearance, taste, temperature, and sanitation.
You will thrive in a dynamic culinary environment where teamwork and communication are key. Your day will involve following standardized recipes and HACCP guidelines to prepare food safely, operating a variety of kitchen equipment, and managing storage and labeling. While you will work closely with the team, you will also demonstrate the ability to function independently when necessary, ensuring the highest quality and safest food is provided to our residents and guests.
Good Samaritan offers on-the-job training for qualified candidates. Depending on the location, specific certifications such as Serv Safe or Basic Life Support (BLS) may be required within a designated timeframe. A drug screen and pre-employment background screening are conditions of employment.
