As a Culinary Team Member at our Rapid City facility, you will play a vital role in nourishing residents, patients, staff, and visitors. Your day-to-day work involves preparing, assembling, cooking, and portioning food while strictly adhering to menu guidelines and specific dietary requirements. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food quality, including appearance, taste, and temperature, while ensuring a safe and sanitary environment.
This role requires collaboration with internal customers, demanding strong communication and teamwork skills. You will thrive in a dynamic culinary setting, following standardized recipes and Hazardous Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines to document safety steps and outcomes. From operating a wide range of kitchen equipment to managing food labeling and storage, your efforts ensure the delivery of the safest and highest quality food possible.
On-the-job training is provided for qualified candidates. Depending on the location, specific certifications such as Serv Safe or Basic Life Support (BLS) may be required within a designated timeframe.
