As a Culinary Team Member at our Rapid City facility, you will play a vital role in nourishing our residents, staff, and visitors. Your day-to-day work involves preparing, assembling, cooking, and portioning baked goods and meals while strictly adhering to menu guidelines and specific dietary requirements. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food quality, appearance, taste, and temperature.
This role requires a dynamic approach to a changing culinary environment. You will follow standardized recipes and Hazardous Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines to ensure food safety, documenting temperatures and outcomes meticulously. You will operate a wide range of kitchen equipment, from mixers and ovens to dishwashers and grills, while managing labeling and storage protocols. Success in this position demands strong communication skills to collaborate with internal customers, the ability to work independently when necessary, and the physical stamina to remain on your feet for the majority of the day.
Candidates selected for an interview will undergo a standard screening process. An accepted offer is contingent upon passing a drug screen and a pre-employment background screening. Depending on the specific location requirements, you may also need to obtain Serv Safe certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) within a designated timeframe.
