As a Culinary Team Member at our Rapid City facility, you will play a vital role in nourishing our residents, staff, and visitors. Your day-to-day work involves preparing, assembling, cooking, and portioning baked goods and meals while strictly adhering to menu guidelines and specific dietary requirements. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food quality, appearance, taste, and temperature.
This role requires you to function effectively in a dynamic culinary environment, collaborating with internal customers and team members to ensure seamless service. You will operate a variety of kitchen equipment, including mixers, ovens, and food processors, while following standardized recipes and Hazardous Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines to guarantee food safety. Your duties also include maintaining sanitation in cooking and serving areas, managing food labeling and storage, and documenting HACCP steps and temperatures to ensure the safest possible food production.
Candidates selected for an interview will undergo a standard screening process. An accepted offer is contingent upon passing a drug screen and pre-employment background screening. Depending on the specific location requirements, you may also need to obtain Serv Safe certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) within a designated timeframe.
