As a Culinary Team Member at our Rapid City facility, you will play a vital role in nourishing our residents, staff, and visitors. Your day will involve preparing, assembling, cooking, and portioning baked goods and meals while strictly adhering to menu guidelines and specific dietary requirements. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food quality, appearance, taste, and temperature.
This role requires a dynamic approach to a changing culinary environment. You will follow standardized recipes and Hazardous Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines to ensure the safest food possible, documenting all steps and temperatures. You will operate a variety of kitchen equipment, including mixers, ovens, grills, and dishwashers, while managing labeling and storage protocols. Success in this position demands excellent communication skills to work with internal customers, the ability to function as part of a team, and the stamina to remain on your feet for the majority of the day.
On-the-job training will be provided to help you succeed. Depending on the location, you may be required to obtain Serv Safe certification within a designated timeframe and fulfill annual continuing education requirements, including safety education and mandatory in-services. A drug screen and pre-employment background screening are required conditions of employment.
