As a Dessert Production Specialist, you will be the creative force behind the sweet finishes of our dining experience. Your mission is to plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality menu items and specials across our restaurants, room service, and banquet halls. You will work closely with the Chef and Sous Chef to ensure every dessert meets our rigorous standards for taste, presentation, and plating specifications.
Your day begins with meticulous preparation, setting up your workstation with the necessary tools and ingredients while inspecting equipment for optimal performance. Throughout the shift, you will produce dessert menu items, create attractive centerpieces for banquets, and prepare amenity orders for room service guests. Beyond production, you play a vital role in maintaining the highest levels of sanitation and organization, ensuring compliance with state health regulations and hotel policies.
You will be the face of our kitchen's dessert program, anticipating guest needs and responding promptly to inquiries about our services and local attractions. Whether resolving a guest complaint or collaborating with stewards to streamline cleanup, your focus remains on delivering a seamless and delightful experience. You will also assist the Baker as needed, manage food costs by minimizing waste, and ensure proper storage and rotation of all products.
