About the Role
Burger King is seeking a Cook I (Food & Beverage) team member to join our team. In this role, you will be an essential part of our kitchen operations, preparing food items and ensuring that food quality and safety standards are consistently meet our high standards. You will play a key part in delivering the delicious meals our customers expect, working alongside a dedicated team to keep our kitchen running smoothly.
Day in the Life
As a Cook I, your day involves preparing a variety of menu items, including burgers, chicken sandwiches, fries, and breakfast items, fries, and breakfast options for breakfast, all according to company recipes and procedures. You will operate essential kitchen equipment such as grills and fryers, assemble food orders with care, and ensure that food is prepared quickly and accurately. Maintaining proper food temperatures and monitoring food quality are critical parts of your routine.
Beyond food preparation, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. This includes restocking kitchen inventory, cleaning kitchen stations and equipment, and following strict food safety and sanitation procedures. You will assist with deliveries and communicate effectively with team members to ensure that orders are completed on time, especially during busy periods. Your ability to work efficiently under pressure and collaborate with others will be key to your success in this role.
Growth and Benefits
We offer competitive compensation, typically ranging from $14 to $18 per hour, with opportunities for overtime pay, night shift pay differential, holiday pay, and performance-based raises depending on location and experience.
