About the Role
As a Controls Service Technician III, you will be the driving force behind the successful start-up, checkout, and troubleshooting of complex building automation systems. This role is designed for a seasoned professional who can operate with minimal guidance to commission new HVAC DDC BACnet/IP control systems on both new construction and retrofit sites.
In this position, you will manage the full lifecycle of system integration, from capturing necessary documentation and licensing to programming firmware, setting IP addresses, and calibrating hardware. You will serve as a technical expert, collaborating with team members to develop solutions, coaching field technicians, and providing customer training. Your day-to-day involves navigating diverse environments—from crawl spaces to rooftops—to ensure systems function flawlessly while maintaining the highest safety standards.
