As a Controls Deployment Engineer, you will be responsible for innovating, deploying, and optimizing automation systems within the data centers. These systems consist of Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS). Using Amazon leadership principles, you will develop new processes and standards while innovating in the controls space.
Your day-to-day involves managing the scope and schedule of BMS and EPMS vendors during construction, developing scopes of work for site improvement projects, and navigating complex situations with multiple stakeholders. You will review controls sequences of operation, interpret controls drawings and wiring diagrams, and support commissioning activities in the field. You will also participate in the AWS global on-call schedule to provide immediate technical support to in-service data centers.
