About the Opportunity
Vaco by Highspring is partnering with a leading Manufacturing and Distribution organization in Warrendale, PA, to identify a strategic Controller. This role is pivotal for a company navigating growth, requiring a leader who can bridge the gap between daily financial operations and long-term strategic planning. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary financial steward, ensuring liquidity, compliance, and accurate reporting while managing a small but critical team.
The Role
As the Controller, you will lead the full spectrum of financial operations for a multi-entity organization. Your day-to-day will involve overseeing the month-end close process, managing cash flow forecasting to support bank loan covenants, and directing the accounts payable and receivable lifecycles. You will act as the lead liaison for external audits, preparing trial balances and ensuring robust internal controls are in place to safeguard company assets.
Beyond transactional management, this position demands strategic oversight. You will collaborate directly with the President to develop annual budgets, income projections, and shareholder distribution schedules. A key component of the role involves analyzing inventory usage to guide purchasing decisions and expanding the Chart of Accounts to reflect new business lines. You will also manage specialized payroll reporting for technicians and drivers, ensuring accurate cost validation across the organization.
Location & Work Model
This is a fully onsite position located in Warrendale, PA, requiring a 5-day work week. The role offers a competitive salary range of $115,000 - $125,000 annually, plus benefits.
