We are seeking a hands-on Controller with specific Venture Capital and SaaS experience to lead the accounting function for a rapidly growing company. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in an early-stage startup environment and is eager to build core financial infrastructure from the ground up.
As the Controller, you will own the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process, ensuring GAAP-compliant financial statements and robust internal controls. You will play a pivotal role in managing complex SaaS revenue recognition across subscriptions, usage-based billing, and multi-year agreements, while also navigating the nuances of government and public-sector contracts. Beyond the ledger, you will partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Implementation teams to ensure data integrity across the CRM, billing systems, and financial platforms, directly influencing revenue forecasting and pipeline accuracy.
This position offers high ownership with direct operational impact, providing exposure to complex revenue operations and the challenges of scaling a high-growth business. There is a clear path to expanded leadership responsibilities as the company evolves, making this a unique opportunity for someone interested in growing into broader finance leadership roles.
Join a mission-driven environment where your work delivers meaningful real-world impact. You will have the opportunity to shape the financial strategy of a dynamic organization, working with cross-functional teams to align contract terms and operational workflows. The culture supports a fast-paced, high-growth atmosphere where your contributions to financial scalability and audit readiness are valued.
