Pixalate is an online trust and safety platform dedicated to protecting businesses, consumers, and children from deceptive, fraudulent, and non-compliant mobile, CTV apps, and websites. Our mission is to bring transparency to the digital advertising ecosystem, safeguarding users from hidden risks while enabling legitimate commerce.
Our team of lawyers, data scientists, engineers, economists, and researchers spans globally, with a presence in California, New York, Washington, DC, London, and Singapore. We have been instrumental in uncovering high-profile criminal and illegal surveillance cases, including investigations featured by Gizmodo, Adweek, The Washington Post, Pro Publica, ABC7 News, and NBC News.
As a Contracts Counsel, you will be a central pillar of our growing legal team, supporting Pixalate's commercial operations in a fast-paced technology environment. This role is designed for a commercially minded professional who thrives as a true business partner rather than a gatekeeper.
You will work closely with Sales, Finance, Product, and executive leadership to enable business transactions while managing legal risk. Your day-to-day will involve drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a high volume of technology and data licensing agreements, SaaS contracts, partnership deals, and vendor agreements. You will serve as the primary legal point of contact for Sales and Business Development, advising stakeholders on contract terms, risk allocation, liability exposure, IP ownership, and data privacy obligations.
Beyond individual deal execution, you will help scale our legal processes by developing standard contract templates, playbooks, and fallback positions. You will also coordinate with outside counsel on specialized matters and partner with Finance and Revenue Operations to ensure deal structures align with revenue recognition requirements.
We are looking for candidates who can hit the ground running in a dynamic environment. While specific interview steps are not detailed in this posting, we value clear communication and the ability to explain complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders. We invite you to apply if you are a self-starter capable of managing multiple priorities and collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams.
