The Opportunity
Are you ready to play a key role in delivering impactful solutions for Federal Government customers? We are looking for experienced and highly motivated individuals to help lead the delivery of services, construction, and research and development requirements. As a Contract Specialist, you will provide resolutions to an assortment of problems of moderately complex scope and contribute to the fulfillment of projects and organizational objectives.
This position is located in Oklahoma City, OK; Amarillo, TX; or Lubbock, TX. Please note that this position is in support of future opportunities. As we get closer to filling the role, we will be contacting qualified candidates directly.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circlePerform contract awards and administration tasks
- check_circleExecute formation, bid, evaluation, award, administration, and closeout of complex purchase orders and contracts
- check_circleDevelop solicitations and negotiate terms for purchase orders and subcontracts
- check_circleAnticipate and resolve complex procurement issues in creative and effective ways
- check_circleParticipate in long-term planning activities involving acquisition strategies and staffing capabilities
- check_circleWork with Legal Counsel to prevent and resolve subcontract issues and disputes
- check_circleInterface with functional units, customers, auditors, and subcontractors
- check_circleProvide contract interpretations and assist with financial, legal, or technical issues
Requirements
- verified5 to 12 years of related experience
- verifiedDAWIA certification in contracting or FAC-C
- verifiedDemonstrated experience in administration of large, small, and moderate size procurements
- verifiedWorking knowledge of change management procedures for RFPs and contract modifications
- verifiedFamiliarity with Department of Labor Requirements for the Service Contract Act
- verifiedDemonstrated experience in commercial and/or government contracting
- verifiedDemonstrated experience in developing and negotiating subcontract types
- verifiedAbility to effectively communicate orally and in writing
Nice to Have
Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree from an accredited institution in a related discipline. Construction contract administration experience. Experience with eSourcing/eAuctions preparatory to the execution of procurements. Experience with SAP Ariba or other automated purchasing systems. Broad understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations and their application. Recent hands-on experience in Federal Government contract management.
