Calix is seeking a Summer Intern to join our award-winning Content Marketing team. This 90-day, full-time remote internship offers a unique opportunity to gain real hands-on experience in content strategy and operations within a high-growth, fast-paced technology company.
You will work closely with the team to conduct a comprehensive content audit and help strengthen the systems and processes that keep our content operations running efficiently. We are looking for someone passionate about content strategy—not just creation—who finds satisfaction in building structure, improving workflows, and thinking about content at scale. This role is ideal for aspiring Marketing, English, or Communications students eager to learn new skills through both training and on-the-job experience.
This is a remote position open to candidates based anywhere in the United States or Canada. The internship runs for the complete summer break (May – August or June – September).
The base pay range for this position varies based on geographic location. Specific hourly rates for the San Francisco Bay Area, select US metros/states, and other US locations will be shared during the recruitment process. Individual pay is determined by location of residence and multiple factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Experience with Workfront, Asana, or other project management tools. Familiarity with content management systems or digital asset management tools. Experience working with major generative AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or Gemini) and openness to experimenting with AI applications specific to content, marketing, and workflow automation.
