Blackdog Builders, Inc. is a multi-division organization serving the home improvement sector. Our marketing engine operates across several distinct business units, including design/build and remodeling services, basement finishing, home services, and retail divisions like FloorMe! and Silver Lake Cabinetry. The team is dedicated to maintaining a cohesive brand voice while addressing the unique needs of each division.

About the Role

The Content & Copy Coordinator is the operational heartbeat of our marketing efforts, tasked with turning strategy into daily action. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you will serve as the central hub connecting the Visual Media Specialist, internal stakeholders, and external vendors. This role is designed for a detail-driven organizer who thrives on building calendars, managing timelines, and ensuring marketing work moves forward smoothly across multiple channels.

In this position, you will not only manage the logistics of publishing but also craft the words that define our presence. You will draft and refine copy for blogs, websites, email campaigns, and social media, ensuring every piece aligns with established brand voice and messaging direction. Your day-to-day involves coordinating workflows from initial creative briefs to final approval, maintaining version control, and ensuring that our marketing assets are organized and ready for reuse.

The workload is split between our service divisions (approximately 60%) and retail divisions (approximately 30%), with flexibility to shift based on seasonal priorities. While primarily based in Salem, NH, you may occasionally work from our Nashua, NH location.
