About the Role
ATA Services is seeking an experienced Construction Project Auditor to join our Public Sector team in Albuquerque, NM. This temporary, full-time position plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity of publicly funded construction and capital improvement projects.
In this capacity, you will plan and execute audits and compliance reviews under the direction of the Public Sector Finance Authority (PSFA). Your work will focus on verifying that projects adhere to applicable laws, regulations, grant requirements, contracts, and internal policies. By promoting transparency, accountability, and the stewardship of public funds, you will help safeguard taxpayer investments without issuing independent audit opinions on behalf of the organization.
Hiring Process

Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Construction Management, Engineering, Public Administration, or related field
- verified3-5 years experience in public sector construction auditing, capital project oversight, or construction project management involving public funds
- verifiedCIA, CPA, CGAP, CCA, or CCM certification preferred
Nice to Have
Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, CGAP, CCA, or CCM.
