Kelley Construction is a multi-faceted commercial and industrial general contractor licensed to perform work across many states in the United States. We offer a wealth of technical expertise in all areas of commercial construction, including restaurants, medical facilities, warehousing, fast food chains, large design-build expansions, and general office renovation. Our broad experience extends to industrial construction, ranging from liquid storage and containment and petroleum-related projects to pre-engineered metal buildings and concrete construction.
This position serves as a working supervisor for typical crew sizes of 5 to 15 employees, focusing on earthwork and/or concrete scopes. You will act as a key partner to the Superintendent, assisting with all related industrial construction activities. Your day-to-day involves ensuring projects are completed safely, properly, and productively while enforcing safety programs and procedures. You will be responsible for identifying and correcting jobsite problems, maintaining proper housekeeping, and serving as the primary backup for the Superintendent in areas of documentation, such as reports, inspection logs, time sheets, and drawings.
This is a full-time, 1st shift position with consistent travel requirements (up to 100%). The role reports directly to the General Superintendent. Interested candidates should ensure they meet the minimum requirements, including eligibility for a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) and OSHA 10-hour certification.
