As the Construction Manager - Electrical, this position serves as a critical pillar for the Electric division, delivering on-site construction supervision for industrial electrical projects spanning multiple states. The role exists to ensure high standards of safety, quality, and execution throughout the entire lifecycle of a project. As the on-site KE representative, you will serve as the primary point of contact for inspectors, landowners, and OSHA visits, bridging the gap between field operations and project management.

Day in the Life

Your day-to-day involves leading on-site planning, managing materials and equipment, and maintaining rigorous job site safety protocols. You will interpret project drawings and installation standards to guide execution, while coordinating closely with project managers on scheduling, cost tracking, and material procurement. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to supervising field crews and subcontractors, ensuring work stays on schedule and within budget.

You will foster a culture of safety by conducting tailgate meetings, ensuring Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) completion, and enforcing all safety protocols. Beyond supervision, you will provide feedback, coaching, and mentorship to on-site personnel, leading by example and stepping in to work on-site when needed. Your responsibilities also include building and maintaining a 3-week lookahead schedule, reviewing timecards and job costs for accuracy, and supporting documentation, change orders, and construction-related administration.
