About the Role
The Construction Manager serves as the primary on-site leader for a Commercial EPCLocation project in Houston, TX, driving execution from the present through the end of 2027. This role is critical for ensuring that all field activities align with design specifications, budget constraints, and schedule milestones. The position acts as the central hub for coordinating discipline superintendents, engineering teams, and subcontractors to deliver a safe, high-quality project.
In this capacity, you will manage the day-to-day administrative and technical operations of the site. Your focus will be on orchestrating the complex interplay between construction efforts, client interfaces, and municipal authorities. You will be responsible for the efficient use of materials and equipment while ensuring strict adherence to safety and health plans, including regular audits of Pre-Task Analysis and Task Safety Observations.
The role demands a proactive approach to project controls. You will collaborate closely with the Project Management and Engineering teams to develop Project Execution Plans, resolve field engineering items, and sequence deliverables. From authorizing purchase requisitions to reviewing subcontractor progress payments, you will oversee the commercial and operational flow of the project. Additionally, you will manage the final construction documentation turnover process, ensuring a smooth transition to clients and internal startup and commissioning teams.
