About the Role
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Construction Project Engineer within our Construction Engineering & Inspection group, located in the New Orleans Metro Area. In this role, you will lead construction projects for roadway, interchange, and bridge initiatives, ensuring all work adheres to LADOTD and local agency standards. You will serve as a key technical leader, interpreting complex construction plans and specifications while managing the preparation of daily inspection reports to document work performed, manpower, and materials. This position offers the chance to mentor junior civil engineers and coordinate effectively across project disciplines to deliver high-quality infrastructure solutions.

Requirements
- verifiedBachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering

- verifiedHighway experience with asphalt/concrete pavement reconstruction, drainage, lighting, traffic signals, utility protection, and striping
- verifiedBridge experience including concrete/steel demolition, repair, steel erection, deck construction, retaining walls, substructure units, and WZTC inspection
- verifiedOperational knowledge of field inspection equipment
