WolfSteel continues to push the bar higher in the metal building industry, and we are growing again! We are a dynamic and innovative construction team that specializes in delivering high-quality metal buildings with solid concrete foundations. Our culture is built on performance, ownership, and pride, fostering a strong, motivated team that values excellence and growth.
As we expand our operations, we are seeking a motivated Building Coordinator to join our team. You will collaborate closely with our Project Director, Building Coordination Team, and building contractors to ensure the successful completion of our projects. This role is designed for someone who is sharp, curious, and enjoys understanding how projects come together from blueprint to completion.
In this position, you will manage scheduling, logistics, and trade communication from the office, then hit the road to ensure jobs are executed to WolfSteel's standards. You will serve as a strong liaison between the Project Director, building coordination team, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, facilitating effective communication to resolve issues and keep projects on track. The role offers hands-on exposure to inspectors, manufacturers, and skilled trades, with direct access to leadership and real advancement opportunities.
Your workdays will typically run Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 6 PM (Central Time), with an hour-long lunch break. While the core schedule is standard, overtime is often needed based on workload and project demands (typically 5-10 hours), and occasional weekends or on-call availability may be required.
Your day will involve coordinating metal building projects from start to finish, managing deliveries with contractors and subcontractors, and ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards. You will identify and address challenges during construction, collaborating with the team to develop creative solutions. Additionally, you will coordinate material procurement with the Purchasing Team and suppliers to ensure timely delivery, monitor construction activities for compliance with specifications and safety regulations, and maintain accurate records of project activities, including schedules, budgets, and change orders.
We are looking for individuals who are fluent in English and Spanish, possess strong organizational skills, and have a willingness to learn. If you are motivated, resilient, and ready to execute in a fast-paced environment, we want you on the team.
